Alternative to Dental Implant Surgery

Before making the decision of having your tooth replaced with a dental implant you should be aware that there may be a non-surgical alternative that may be right for you. At Dazzling Smile Dental Group, Dr. George recognizes that dental implants may not be suitable for all patients, and has been saving patients teeth which have been previously diagnosed with an extraction and surgical implant for many years. Dr. George has accomplished amazing results for people that want to save their existing natural teeth, or replace their missing teeth, with non-surgical options.

If you have not yet lost your teeth, but one or many of your teeth are broken down, it is often possible to utilize the remaining root or broken tooth to place a crown and maintain your natural teeth without going through surgery and without having to wait up to six months for your implant to be completed.

If you have a broken tooth and have been diagnosed with a dental implant as your only option, please consider getting a consultation with Dr. George who has successfully saved teeth for many of our patients who were diagnosed with implant and told that their existing tooth was hopeless or un-savable. This patient came in with a broken pre-molar, this tooth had very little tooth structure left other than the remaining root.		Dr. George was able to use the remaining root to successfully repair this tooth with a cast-post and porcelain fused to high noble gold crown. No implant was used in this case.

This patient came in with an existing bridge that came off because both of the teeth that were supporting this bridge had broken off.		Dr. George was able to use the remaining roots to rebuild the support that was necessary to successfully replace the bridge. No implants were used to replace this patients missing teeth.

This patient came into our office and needed all of his existing teeth to be extracted and was not a candidate for dental implants.		Dr. George extracted all existing teeth for this patient and delivered a full upper and full lower denture for this patient. No implants were used in this case.

This patient came into our office missing a tooth. This patient did not want to have dental implant surgery.		Dr. George replaced this patients missing tooth with a Maryland Bridge which was much more conservative than a regular bridgeand required much less drilling on the adjacent teeth. This patient was happy not to go through dental implant surgery to replace this tooth and was very pleased with the results.
